Draught’s is such a great idea for a restaurant, cafe and the second you walk through the door memories of epic Scrabble games or arguments over where you can legitimately put a Monopoly hotel come flooding back!! Being from Ireland and seeing that it’s rained a lot during childhood – well it means that most Irish children spent HOURS if not days waiting for rain to stop in holidays. What’s the perfect past-time? Board games!
We played a serious game of jenga, a game of Scrabble where the words si and ny were discovered to be real bonified words in the dictionary (who knew right?)
We finished off with the hilarious Cards Against Humanity – all I’ll say is choose wisely who you play with as PC doesn’t see itself featured on the rules!!
We washed down our board-gaming with good quality beer and a mezze board of meats, cornichons and crusty bread.
Will I be going back? Hell yea, the childhood board game competitive streak has been reawakened and I’m paying a lot more attention to usual connecting words of late…it’s all about the long game!
