Boy did it rain yesterday! While these poor little doggies waited for their owners, I had to stop and take a picture. The owners, I might add were tucking into delicious food in the tea rooms at Kenwood House in Hampstead. I wolfed down pea soup and a what can only be described as half a loaf of home made brown bread.
The furry friends in the courtyard did make me think of my own dog Monty, who would have point blank refused to set foot on the soggy ground. Let’s just say that he doesn’t do rain. He has the right idea if you ask me!
If you are looking for some fresh air, not to mention beautiful paintings, make sure to stop by Kenwood House. It’s pretty amazing to see a Rembrant jostling for space in the same room as a Vermeer, Turner or van Dyck.
