So my post is incredibly short tonight as I’m baking a cake for a ‘Bake Off’ event in work tomorrow and in true ‘Faulty Towers’ comedy-esque timing, the light bulb is gone in the kitchen and I can’t seem to find a weighing scales to measure anything properly! It’s also quite late and I’m definitely slightly bleary-eyed after a busy day. Still, I’m channelling my inner Mary Berry in a ‘show must go on’ type of fashion.
Paul Smith to the rescue
Never fear, it turns out that my beautiful Anglepoise lamp by Paul Smith can give enough light to the kitchen to see what I’m doing and Iain has come the rescue with measuring cups and a whizzy brain to covert all of the bits and bobs that I need and everything is gone in the mix!
I’m hoping for the best that it all turns out and I won’t have a dreaded ‘soggy bottom’ moment in work tomorrow during the big reveal.
