Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme

30th October 2015 by emily

I love make-up but the downside is the amount of cleansers and make-up removers that you spend money on that just don’t do the job properly. You can be left with irritated skin or with a product that isn’t effective enough to remove strong mascara or eye-liner. Hello evening panda eyes!

While the autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, it does mean that our skin can begin to dry out and take a bit of a beating from central heating and the elements. In an effort to be proactive against this change, I’ve been using Exuviance Gentle Cleansing Creme as my go-to cleanser in the morning and evening. It’s developed by the NeoStrata Company and Exuviance products are designed to provide dermatologist quality skin care, without having to pay a fortune on a consultation.  My skin is quite sensitive and the soap-free formula of this cleanser suits my skin. The cream is also rich in antioxidants and marine and botanical extracts, which I like. Each product has been tried and tested to try to ease a range of skin concerns, from acne and rosacea to premature ageing.

The scent of the cleanser isn’t overpowering but it leaves your skin refreshed and supple. You only need about two pumps of the cleanser and it removes make-up really well with a cotton pad. Make sure not to get the product directly in your eyes as it can sting.

My skin is feeling increasingly hydrated and calm from applications over the last few weeks and it’s nice to get good results from a new product! No scary Halloween skin for me, well apart from the fact that I plan on doing zombie make-up tomorrow, but that’s a whole other story!

Retail price: £29.50
