My 30 day blogging challenge

22nd February 2017 by emily

Hi followers,

It’s been a little while since I’ve been in the habit of regular posting so I thought what better way to get my creative juices flowing than to set a deadline! I most definitely work better to a countdown or a goal, so I’m really excited to see what daily writing will bring about.

It might be a quote I love, places I’ve been or something that’s made me think, but the most important thing is that I’m going to post every day for the next 30.

I’m reading a brilliant book called Legacy by James Kerr and it’s about what the All Blacks rugby team can teach us about the business of life. Let’s just say that it’s no coincidence that since reading it, I have a fire in my belly to make more of my time and spend energy on doing the things that I love. I highly recommend reading it for changing your thought patterns and the limitations that you might be putting on yourself.

A picture that I wanted to share with you was taken this weekend in a small town on the southern coast of Iceland called Vik. It’s famous for its black sands, rolling sneaker waves and sea stacks.

The coast was so beautiful and the first day of a road-trip. Iain surprised me with this trip for my 30th birthday and it was a dream come true.

I’ll be sure to do a longer post about our amazing trip, I promise! What a lucky lady am I to get to see this place?! Iceland is a truly stunning place.

I hope you enjoy this burst of posts, I know I’m excited!
